The men’s rugby seven’s tournament was won by Rutherford beating a strong Harry French team 22-7 in the final.

The last four teams involved were Cayley, Faraday, Rutherford and Harry French each winning all of their group matches to make it through to the semi-finals.  Harry French battled it out with Cayley for a place in the final winning 12-7 while Rutherford came out on top in the other semi 20-12 over Faraday. 

The women’s final was very close with Telford eventually triumphing over Rutherford 20-10. 

 The semi-finals were even closer showing the high standard of the women’s tournament, with Telford just edging out Rigg-Rut 25-20 and Rutherford narrowly getting through over Cayley 45-40.
